I’m afraid that Easter Sunday didn’t exactly have me singing “Hallelujah.”

Monday, March 24: I liked my swing through “Heartland” territory last week, although it was cut short by the Easter weekend. After visiting Wichita, Kansas, the Perfect Weight Tour swung over to Independence, Missouri—President Harry Truman’s hometown—where Nature’s Pantry, a local health food store, hosted me in a community hall. There had to be over 500 there. And the next night in Des Moines, Iowa, was another good one—more than 200.
Of course, I didn’t do a Perfect Weight Weekend Seminar since Friday was Good Friday, so I flew home and got home in the late afternoon, which was super. What wasn’t super was the way my upset stomach felt right around midnight on Saturday night, which kept right on rumblin’ into Easter morn. No way I could go to a sunrise service—or any service, for that matter—in the shape I was in. Had to be close to a porcelain throne, if you catch my drift.

Some of my colleagues at Garden of Life also got a stomach virus, and the common denominator was that we were all in Southern California for the Expo West natural foods trade show in Anaheim. We’ve been calling it the “Expo West” virus. I don’t know what it was, but I don’t know to spend many Sundays feeling as badly as I did yesterday.

I bounced back pretty well today, so I’m going to be all right. I have another trip to the Midwest this week, and I need to be ready.

Jordan, Just wanted to share what happened this afternoon. I'm on my 7th day of my very first ever cleanse, following your plan in the book pretty closely. My cleanse will be ending (thank God!!) in a few days. I went to the Vitamin Shoppe where I'd been buying all of my other products for the cleanse and FucoTHIN prior to starting the cleanse, and they now know me, and I bought some Primal Defense Ultra to get some probiotics into my system beginning the day after the cleanse ends. One of the ladies proclaimed, "You're glowing!" You ought to tell Rubin and have him show you off (or something like that). She'd asked if others had told me that I'm glowing. I told her "no, but that I've also been praying a lot." Looking in the mirror, it does appear that I am glowing. I did notice a change in my complexion since starting the cleanse, and it's not over yet. Three more wonderful (yeah, right) days to go...This site suggests to start the cleanse on April 5th, so others might be in the middle of one now...but I started on the 2nd. Sorry to hear of your sickness. Sure it wasn't something you ate?? lol

Where on the site did it tell you to begin on April 5th for the cleanse?

Ann, I noticed in your comments that you said the site suggests to start the cleanse on April 5th for you. I don't see where that info is given. The reason I'm asking is because I'm on the 3rd day of the cleanse, which my "online coach" never indicated when to begin. It has my meal planner, etc., but I'm wondering what to do when I go off the cleanse. Do I just go ahead and start with day 1 of my meal planner. I think I may be thinking of a fast and how you have to do certain things to go off of it. Because this is a cleanse, is that different than a fast?

I found the answer to my question. I saw on the part "about cleansing" under "Resources" where it shows the time of the cleansning, and how it started on April 5th. I realize you can start it any time, but I was just curious when you said a specific date
