I live in Phoenix Az and all my online searches have no results for Raw milk. Does anyone know where I could purchase it? Also, if I cannot purchase it... where would I get unhomogenized milk?

Thanks

Hi, you can probably  get any of those on a Health food store.
And also you can get it online. You can find some places in the book or make a search online.

I hope this helps, have a nice day.

Hi! I just read your post and wanted to let you know that there is a small dairy farm that produces organic raw milk in the East Valley. I don't know how convenient it would be for you, but they are just south of Riggs Rd on Higley Rd. Their website is saveyourdairy.com/ . They sell milk by the gallon for $8 a piece.

I hope this helps!!

What city and state are you talking about?

Thanks everyone. In regards to what city... (not sure if you are talking to me or the person replying to me) but the raw milk is pretty much in Queen Creek. I actually live in Maricopa so it is really far, but I hope to get there. Actually I keep mentally imagining getting myself a herd of goats and milking them myself. Lol (yah I don't think it's that easy)

Sorry about that... I was talking about Queen Creek/Higley area of Arizona. I've been thinking along the same lines (though obviously not seriously :) )about the goats... it seems like it might be easier doesn't it? j/k!

You might want to check online. There are some dairies that will ship it on dry ice. I am fortunate enough to have a raw cow milk dairy close to me. It is the only milk my family will drink.

For Phoenix Arizona:  Healthy Habit Health Food Store, 6029 N. 7 St., Phoenix, AZ 85014. Phone: (602) 252-6000. Web: www.healthyhabithealthfoods.com . Raw cow milk, raw goat milk, raw cheeses, kefir, raw yogurt, and many other fermented or similar products.

I got the info from realmilk.com.  I would encourage everyone to go to this site and learn about the Weston A. Price Foundation.  We shouldn't have to search for raw dairy.  We should be free to choose what we put in our bodies.  I prefer to put living, healthy, raw milk,  not dead pasteurized milk full of dead pathogens in my body.  Also, most states have made it ilegal to purchase raw dairy in stores, this hurts the small local farms and encourages large commercial operations to truck milk hundres of miles.

Go to youtube.com and search on raw dairy or Mark Mcafee to see some great videos about raw vs pasteurized and homogenized milk.  I was surprised to learn that homogenization is not a "safety" practice at all, but a marketing tool.

You can go to realmilk.com and find local dairies in your state too. I was amazed to find out how many are around here, and was able to find one for goat and cows milk products. Good luck!

I know this may not really help, but where I live I found someone with organic fed goats and cows. They are not allowed to "advertise" raw milk, so I go to their homes and take my mason jar and get what I need. The way I found out about both the goat and cow's milk was at our "Farmer's Market". One was selling fresh organic eggs and after talking with her I found out she had a milk cow. The other was selling goat cheese. In both cases I have made a friend for life. We barter sometimes for the milk. I am also on a first name basis with the animals and they appreciate me thanking them for their wonderful milk!

Thanks for the tip in Phoenix, I live in "the Valley" too! I find organic milk but haven't had luck finding raw milk that's unpasturized anywhere either. I'll plan a trip next week - I'll be right near there. You guys are great.
