So we all struggle and need one another's encouragment.  Anybody up for keeping a thread going strong?  I really want to adopt this as a lifestyle and I think we can really motivate one another to succeed by sharing in our successes and struggles.  I always log in hoping to see lots of forum action, but it seems to be slow for the most part.  Any takers??

I check in a few times a week. I usually post under need encouragement. We hads a great thread going for awhile but it seems to have dropped off the month or so. So I will check here too.

I have been on this site since late fall. I have done a fall cleanse and the winter cleanse. I am thinking about doing the spring cleanse. I would love to know if anyone else is doing it so that we can do it together. That seemed to really help with the winter cleanse. I had to do the fall cleanse myself and that wasn't as easy. Normally I eat pretty well and exercise. The last 2 weeks I have fallen off the band wagon. We started remodeling the kitchen floor and we tore off the dining room and are rebuilding it as I type this. SO all of my appliances are in my living room and I only have a working frig and microwave which normally never gets used. Instead of exercising I have been tearing out tile, cleaning up dust and debris etc. I am determined to get back on track especially with the great exercise routine I had going. I was working out 6 days a week for over a month and loved it.

Hi, Heather! I post over at the Need Encouragement thread too. A lot of our "regulars" have kind of drifted away recently but you are welcome to join us!

How long have you been doing PWA and what kind of results have you had so far? I've been following Jordan's plans for awhile now and have had GREAT results. Our family has been traveling a LOT over the last 8 months so it has been more difficult to follow lately but our travels will be coming to an end in two weeks so I will be able to settle down and really concentrate on mine and my family's health.

Would love to hear more about your "health journey"!

Are there any cost to this program?

Hello, Bonnie, and welcome! As for cost, what exactly do you mean? The site here is free and so is all the support, encouragement, and motivation! Any cost would be up to you as to what you decide to do in the areas of eating and supplements.

I'm on Day 1, starting with no money to switch over foods yet, but I've been eating pretty well since reading The Maker's Diet a few years ago.  I may not have all organic, and still have Hamburger Helper on my shelves, but there's no ice cream, cookies, chips, etc. in the house (almost never).  I'll check the boards for current threads - I'd like to see it busier too.

I'm 5 days in (most of it's been w/o a trip to the store for healthy foods).  I've lost 3 lbs, avoided a potentially BAD cheating experience, have tons of fruit & veggies now, exercised this week twice so far, and I feel great.  Even my high blood pressure is down quite a bit.  Having this site is a great accountability "partner".  I feel I need to write something every day, and that makes me think as I go through my day - less mindless eating mistakes now.

There is a journal section for you if you would like to write daily. I believe it is on your profile page.

I too like having this site. I have made some great contacts and I look forward to hearing how everyone is doing.
