This may help in regards to nuts. When Jordan is talking about raw nuts or seeds, they are often sprouted. What I mean by that is they have been soaked in water for overnight, rinsed and then dried in a dehydrator or very low oven. This process helps to remove the natural acid covering on the nuts and seeds that keep them from rotting when planted. I often add a few tablespoons of celtic sea salt to the soaking water for added taste and nutrients from the salt. I hope this helps. Store the nuts in an air tight container after drying.
